This year we will be running an in-house Boot-Camp holiday intensive program in the 2nd week of the September school holidays.

Boot Camp is a challenge to the competitive members of the squad program, they will have to face physical and emotional challenges as they push themselves to the limit of what they think they are capable of. The coaching staff will be monitoring everyone closely to ensure that no-one crosses the line into over-training.

Challenges include fitness testing, distance time-trials, skill benchmarks, extra training sessions and finishing with a Race Meet.

There are three training packages available.

State Team – 10 Sessions, $70.00
Time Trials – 2,000m FR, 400m IM, 200m BF, 100m FR

District Team – 8 Sessions, $60.00
Time Trials – 1,500 FR, 400m IM, 100m BF, 100m FR

Junior Team – 7 Sessions, $50.00
Time-Trials – 1,000m FR, 200 IM, 100m BF, 100m FR

The fees will cover the costs of a Boot Camp Team Shirt, food and drink at training and a BBQ lunch on the final session.

The goal of the 2025 Boot Camp is to start our Term 4 training at a high standard and prepare for the November State Sprint Championships, and the December Victorian Age Long-Course Championships.

Boot Camp 2025 will be a fantastic opportunity for you to challenge yourself both as a person and an athlete. It will set up our Long-Course season for a great summer of racing and hopefully give our swimmers a sense of achievement and a better understanding of what is needed to achieve their goals in swimming.
