Over the King’s Birthday weekend, eight Hurricanes competed in the annual Warrnambool 2-Day Short-Course Competition. Swimming 10 events throughout the competition, everyone had a fantastic experience and set themselves up for a great winter season. A special mention goes to Sunny and Macey, for whom the Warrnambool Competition was their first ever race meet.

Harrison Sheers – 10 Races, 5 PB’s, 10 Top 10’s, 2 Ribbons (1x 2nd, 1x 1st)

Macey Venville – 9 Races, 1 Top 10

It should be noted that everyone swam a PB time in every race they entered, non-PB results were because it was the first time they had swum that event at competition.
